• Consume cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school, daycare or youth center while children are present, except at a private residence.
• Consume cannabis while driving or riding as a passenger in any motor vehicle. It is also illegal to travel in a motor vehicle or drive with an open container of cannabis unless it is stored in the trunk of the car.
• Possess or consume cannabis on the grounds of a school, day care, or youth center while children are present.
• Manufacture cannabis concentrates with volatile solvents that contain explosive chemicals such as butane.

Other restrictions:

Under California weed laws, landlords or other private entities and government bodies can restrict or prohibit cannabis use on their properties.
