How To Make A Water Bottle Bong

You should already have everything you need to create this bong in your house already. And if not, just go to a friend’s place and get them excited about your DIY project. Heck, you can even get your friends together and make believe that you all just turned 17. It can be a water bottle bong circle - oh, the possibilities!
First, though, you’re going to have to make the thing. Here’s the how to.
Water Bottle Bong Kit
You don’t need to go anywhere to actually get the water bottle bong kit. It already exists in your home - only it’s spread out in various locations. This will be kind of like a treasure hunt in your own house. You’re going to need:
- A water bottle
- Some aluminum foil
- A toothpick
- A highlighter
- And a lighter
And of course, you’re going to need some water to bubble and some weed to smoke.
How To Make A Water Bottle Bong
Don’t fight with your friends over who gets to put the thing together. The engineering is basically mapped out - and it’s not that difficult. You will, however, need a certain amount of precision to get the job done.
Start by dismantling the highlighter. You want to be left with only the tube. This is going to act as your water bottle bong attachment - the part your cone piece goes into. To make the cone piece, fold the piece of aluminum foil in half. Using your pinky finger, push it into the tube (not all the way) and fold the rest of the foil around the outside of the lighter. Use the toothpick to poke holes in it.
Then, using the lighter, create the hole that you are going to put the tube into. Be careful, if you make it too big, your tube will just flop around in there. You want to make it smaller than your tube, so you can squeeze it in and have it sit nice and firmly. Now, using the same method, burn a small hole big enough to be the choke.
You should have something that now at least remotely resembles a bong. And if you haven’t, you’ve certainly done it wrong. Start again! But if you’ve managed to successfully accomplish this fine piece of engineering, it’s time to add the water, load up your cone and smoke! Enjoy bubbling away with your DIY water bottle bong!
