With recreational legalization in California just days away, fast food chain, Jack in the Box, has decided to take full advantage of celebrating pot smokers by launching a new meal for anyone with a severe case of the munchies.

They’ve teamed up with Snoop Dogg’s very own Merry Jane to bring the weed-themed- Merry Munchie Meal to three southern California locations. The meal will only be available in Snoop Dogg’s hometown of Long Beach from January 18-25 and will include a half serving of curly fries and onion rings, two tacos, five mini churros, three crispy chicken strips and a small drink.
“Launching the Merry Munchie Meal is the perfect way for both companies to celebrate legalization in our shared home state of California,” Scott Chung, COO of Merry Jane said in a statement.
As for the price, well, that’s on theme as well. All that food will be on the market for just $4.20 (plus tax.) We see you, Jack in the Box.
“Jack’s Munchie Meals have been successful for us because of the authenticity of how we speak to our customers. This partnership is one more way for us to connect with them…We are about welcoming all of our guests, no matter what they’re craving or why they’re craving it,” Iwona Alter, Chief Marketing Officer of Jack in the Box, said in a statement.
Jack in the Box has been struggling as of late and has dropped in popularity compared to other chains of the same nature. It seems they’re hoping to capitalize on the recreational legalization of marijuana in California by collaborating with such a big name in the cannabis community. Whilst munchie meals are nothing new, we can’t help but be a little intrigued by one that is specifically weed-themed. And for only $4.20, you can’t really complain.
Road trip to Long Beach, anyone?
