Marijuana enthusiasts have jumped on the chance to show the world that cannabis users aren't lazy and break down the stigma associated with cannabis use. With cannabis use becoming more accepted in various parts of the world, it seems the Reddit cannabis community is eager to help. The trend has also spread to other social media sites, such as Twitter where cannabis enthusiasts are joining in with movement as it spreads.

Many users on the site are calling for other weed smokers to keep the trend going, noting that #StonerCleanUpInitiative needs to last beyond its virality.

#StonerCleanUpInitiative Should Never End from r/trees

#StonerCleanUpInitiative is a powerful example of what can be achieved when the cannabis community comes together. As cannabis legislation in the United States continues to move forward, it's important that the stigma surrounding marijuana continues to be taken apart, allowing for more to take advantage of the many benefits cannabis has to offer.
