The funky town of San Jose will be a-bloom with 420 celebrations this year. The capital of the Silicon Valley became famous for things other than marijuana, but they definitely aren’t lacking in the herbal department. A San Jose 420 is fun for all kinds of reasons, including breathtaking views of nature and of course, some freaky deaky head shops. If you live on the West Coast or are just planning a short holiday for the 420 weekend, San Jose has got some cannabis friendly events worth visiting.
420 Fest at Paramount Imports
Paramount Imports is San Jose’s oldest head shop, and they are celebrating 420 in perfect Californian style. With food trucks and live entertainment all day, it will be a perfect place to spark up and enjoy.
While the shop is 51 years in the making, it will be the first time that Paramount Imports hosts this 420 event in San Jose. There will be a huge blowout sale during the whole event, so you’ll also be able to pick up your smoking supplies pretty cheap. Doors open at 10 am and close at 10 pm at Paramount Imports on Meridian Ave on Friday, April 20. Check it out for good food, good music and all of your smoking paraphernalia.
The Menlo Park Sidewalk Fine Arts Festival
If you want to do something a little bit different this 4/20 weekend, why not check out the Sidewalk Fine Arts Festival in Menlo Park? You can discover all kinds of different handcrafted items to buy, not to mention learn a whole heap about what goes into the process.

The SoFA Street Fair is another creative place you can celebrate San Jose 420 this year. You can expect live music performed in both indoor and outdoor stages. There is definitely a high-tech theme to this entertainment event with all kinds of genres of music to experience.
While this event is not cannabis-themed, it can be fun to head down to SoFA this 420 after sparking up to feel the good vibes and get down with others on the cutting edge. The event will be held in the SoFA district, along South 1st Street on April 22, 2018.
