Because if you were to know the exact location of every electron in the Universe at any given moment in time, you would be able to know everything that ever happened and everything that ever would happen. That would be kind of a lot, though—so it’s actually good that no one can ever know that. But there are so many other things to know that are less overwhelming. Wonderful things. Odd things. Perplexing things. And because we love you, we put free knowledge in every jar of Smarty Plants. As well as flower—every jar has knowledge and flower. Some would even say that knowledge is a flower.
